A Vision of Carpentry at Knapton in Norfolk

Scroll down to content

We were very lucky today as six churches out of seven in Norfolk were open….the seventh would have been open but it was having repairs.  I did notice a lot of padlocks and chains attached to moveable items, but if thats what it takes to keep a church open, then so be it.

Although, I think trying to remove these beautiful angels would be quite a feat and I hope they never find a way.  This beautiful roof was erected with its wonderful roof angels in Knapton church, St Peter and Paul, in 1503.
