A Newcastle Red in a Cathedral Window

Newcastle’s Cathedral Church of St Nicholas, has some of the most exquisite stained glass I have seen in a church, the variety is outstanding.

Following on from the ‘Harvest Angels’ we are going to continue with ‘Feathers & Fur’.  I choose to ignore the fact, that squirrel’s and many other animals have hair, it doesn’t fit in to the title nicely 🙂

So to start the ball rolling, we have a wonderful red squirrel, who is in a stained glass window in St George’s Chapel in the Cathedral.
