I am not a people photographer……because people move and they go fuzzy. But on Kings Lynn’s Heritage Day I could not resist these wonderful red coated soldiers, mainly because a 5 x Great Grandfather of mine, had been one on HMS Victory. They had been marching outside, but the rain had driven them inside and they posed for me and didn’t move.

Yes, I was really pleased when I discovered he had been a Marine on Victory, he did several trips, saw some fighting and was lucky enough to retire at the end, all in one piece 🙂
