This is the reason that sightseers come to the Island of Iona in Scotland, is this amazing building, the abbey that you see from the ferry, that comes closer and closer, until you’re in an abbey frenzy…….well thats what it seems like to me. I am not going to write anything about the abbey apart from how perfectly it sits in its location, St Columba certainly got that right in 563AD when he founded the Abbey.
