I wanted these wonderful tomb slabs to have their own post.  These are situated in the church and the cloisters, not the ones in the museum.  I can’t remember now, if was because you aren’t allowed to take photos in the museum or it was so busy you just couldn’t take them.  I’m sure some of these would have covered Kings and high ranking people.  I would have loved to have seen then in their original locations, but I can understand the need to protect them and keep them for future generations.

    1. Its such a shame that they didn’t make copies and place them back where they came from. Wouldn’t it be amazing to explore a graveyard with grave slabs like these 🙂
