This time last year we had snow, lots of snow, not so for this year 2014, no snow so far. Its not that I have missed the snow…….I just like taking photos of snow churches. So I thought I would have a couple of snow posts, and to start with I have gathered a few snowy headstones from different churchyards I visited in 2013.
Echoes of the Past 
What lovely photos! I love the way the snow is reflecting the light onto the stones, making them almost seem to glow. You’d never get this effect any other way, and it’s magical! I also love the really old hollow tree that I can see in one of the pics. Great idea for a post!
Thank you Jo, I had forgotten about the hollow tree. I love taking photos of churches in the snow for the very reason you mention, nature has a wonderful way sometimes 🙂
