A view through a beautiful archway into the garden at Oxburgh Hall in Norfolk. Taken on the 22nd of Dec 2013, we had visited the Hall to see their Christmas decorations.
Oxburgh Hall is wonderful. After missing it the first time, 3 years later we got to spend the afternoon there last September. Remember that secret priest hide-hole?!
Yes I do …..but I didn’t go down it :)….it was lovely at Christmas, because that bedroom where the room if off for the priest hide hole was decorated for Christmas and they had singing minstrels all dress up in Tudor costumes, it really had a lovely feel to it 🙂
Brought back memories – spent a summer staying at Oxburgh Hall .. my room overlooked the moat!
How lovely, its such a beautiful house and garden 🙂
Yes .. and a lovely county!
What a lovely photo. The gardens look more like late summer – such a mild winter that we have had.
Thank you Jo, and yes there was still lots to see in the garden, I must do a post, because its such a lovely place 🙂
