We visited Aberdeen in Scotland last year 2013 and throughly enjoyed our visit, so much history in a beautiful city. I am making myself sort through some photos and in doing so I found this one of two clocks. I love looking up in any city, but in Aberdeen you do get your moneys worth. 🙂
Echoes of the Past 
We haven’t made it to Aberdeen yet, but I really want to go! And there are so many wonderful places around there, too.
It’s a very interesting city and has some wonderful buildings, I took hundred of photos but just not had the time to post them……I take far too many, but they keep for a rainy day 🙂
Have yet to visit Aberdeen but know it is full of history~ this is a wonderful shot against that pale blue sky~it is a perfect backdrop for the figure in the foreground~ really lovely shot. Will look forward to more from your trip there.
Thank you, I think you would rather like Aberdeen, lots of lovely buildings and it has its own character, quite different from Edinburgh, there is only one Edinburgh, but Aberdeen is not far behind 🙂
Yes, I have been to Edinburgh and as you say, it is really unique and no other city quite like it but know very little about Aberdeen apart from one or two historical connections and where it is located. Hope I will be able to make it back to Scotland again as would dearly love to explore more and return to some much loved places. Thank you for sharing your lovely photos. This is a favorite now.
