Graffiti in Kings Lynn Minster in Norfolk

When I had finished taking Christmas photos of Kings Lynn Minster in Norflok, I started to look for some graffiti.  I had a look at some of the medieval arches, but a little difficult as I didn’t have a torch with me and it was quite dark.  I gave up looking and then went to look at Chancel in more detail, and bingo, as I lent on some woodwork, I saw some marks…..I found some graffiti.  Some wood graffiti, some very old graffiti, it made the whole chancel come alive, I could see the choir boys or bored minsters craving their names or doodles.  Some quite nice old dates and I love that they have just left them and polish them giving them a lovely patina. Just a really nice set for my Graffiti Category.
