When I had finished taking Christmas photos of Kings Lynn Minster in Norflok, I started to look for some graffiti. I had a look at some of the medieval arches, but a little difficult as I didn’t have a torch with me and it was quite dark. I gave up looking and then went to look at Chancel in more detail, and bingo, as I lent on some woodwork, I saw some marks…..I found some graffiti. Some wood graffiti, some very old graffiti, it made the whole chancel come alive, I could see the choir boys or bored minsters craving their names or doodles. Some quite nice old dates and I love that they have just left them and polish them giving them a lovely patina. Just a really nice set for my Graffiti Category.
This is where I found the graffiti. January 2015

wonderful:)
It was a lovely surprise, I didn’t see it last time I visited, but it is very dark inside 🙂
Nicely photographed, Lynne!
Thank you Jo, it was a little difficult as I had to use the flash 🙂
