This year 2015, when we went to the Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, we had stunning weather, really hot. The year this photo was take in 2013, the weather was horrible, it just poured down. I had taken a few photos of these wonderful drays, in the hope that some might be ok……no…only by changing this one to b & w, has it been saved a little. I missed taking them this year, they were there and I intended to, but someone wanted to buy a hat, by the time we came back they were gone. Also there are so many people wanting to pet them, that it is extremely difficult to take a good shot. So I’m glad that I have saved a least one….. husband says there is only so much beer you can drink…..I had shandy, but more than likely this year will have been our last trip there.
I am still sorting photos. 4,000.00 gone now, hopefully laptop will allow me to add some more soon 🙂
Echoes of the Past 
Glad you posted this one, I love dray horses! Okay, I love all horses. 🙂 I don’t think I’ve seen them so marvelously adorned. Next time, hopefully, yell “Excuse me, I want to take a picture!” Everybody will think you’re a crazy lady and back off. (No, I wouldn’t, either.) 😀
Thats a very good idea 🙂 You would like it were we live, everyone up our lane has a horse or more, but we have a garden. Ha ha one of next doors paddocks has 2 small ponies in it and people think they are ours, thats enough for me……I don’t have to look after them 🙂 These two were very quite and gentle, my kind of horse 🙂
