I took this photo (as I said I shot anything I like the look of when we driving) when we passing on our road trip up to John O’Groats in Scotland 2014, and thought that would do us nicely, tongue in cheek. Well its for sale and it’s a country house hotel, I can do that…..no not really, but what a wonderful home it must have been in the past.
A little history…..Forss House Hotel is a Georgian Grade B listed house built in 1810 and set in approximately 16 acres of woodland and garden. The property was once owned by Major Radclyffe, a great adventurer, renowned falconer in his time and there is evidence throughout the property of his various trophies and photographs…….. he was a photographer…oh well I just have to have it now 🙂 Just need to win the lottery, I wonder if they can wait for…..forever.

If you buy it, I’ll comer to the UK. Which I can afford about as much as you can afford the castle! 😀
LOL if I win the lottery I will pay for you to come over and stay in my hotel, now all we have to do is keep our fingers crossed 🙂 🙂
That better be a big lottery prize! That certainly would be a lovely place to stay.
Well two people here last Sat won 33 million each…..it wasn’t us…. but it could have been, got to be in it to win it…… well thats what I tell myself 🙂
its a lovely place! I hope someone buys it and keeps it up ! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you
Thank you Deb 🙂
Stupendous chimneys, that dependable foursquare look is what makes it for me (and maybe for you).
Yes I think being Georgian, so much nicer than Victorian, solid, no fancy silly bits, just lovely windows with high ceilings……could go on and on 🙂
Lovely. I am heading up to that part of the world in the summer, and you are giving me lots of inspiration!
Good, that what I like to hear, got plenty more yet and yet there where still places I didn’t get to see, maybe you will fill in some of the gaps 🙂
