The Twisty Train

One my favourites, Ffestiniog Railway, Wales, in 2011

Ffestiniog Railway is a 1 ft 11 ¹⁄₂ in narrow gauge heritage railway, located in Gwynedd, Wales. It is a major tourist attraction located mainly within the Snowdonia National Park.

  1. That is a very narrow gage! I can’t imagine any would be smaller than that. And Snowdonia would make for a beautifully scenic drive.

    1. Last time we were on the train, it had a problem, it stalled on an incline,it had to roll back and have another go, it made it in the end, but just for a moment, we thought we would have to get and push 🙂

  2. LOL! That sounds like a children’s book we had when we were small. “The Little Train that Could” He had the same problem. Glad you didn’t have to push. 🙂
