Narrow Boat Cruising

One of the sights I love to see, and we do see it a lot in the Fens, narrow boats, winding their way through our many water ways.  I think this was taken at Upwell, Cambridgeshire in April 2015, on the River Nene.

    1. They would have been working boats originally, a lot were coal boats and the family would have lived just in the end bit. Now they are just used for fun in this country, but in other european countries they still use them on their big rivers 🙂

    1. You can hire them for a holiday, my daughter and family did that a few years and we met them, and had dinner with them onboard, it was great fun 🙂
