Nancy’s Evening Walk – Scotland

Scroll down to content

One night while on holiday this year in Scotland 2016, Nancy our little dog allowed us to accompany her on an evenings walk.  Nancy chooses which way she wants to explore on the beach, which lays along the edge of the caravan park, a few miles from Oban where we stay with our motorhome, strangely enough it is always to the left.  When we first arrived we did the same walk, but in the afternoon, it just looks so different in the evening 🙂

  1. Wow! That’s an incredible sky. Twilight can be just as beautiful as sunset. And you know I love what you do with clouds. Nancy has excellent taste when it comes to walks. 🙂

    1. Thank you Pat, it was a lovely evening and the twilight was I think even more beautiful than the sunset… lasted longer 🙂 Nancy says you your so right 🙂 🙂

    1. Nancy says thank you, she is quite pleased with herself, she caught a huge rat coming out from under one of the chicken runs….they have always been small ones before, but this one was big, she made short work of it and got a bone as a reward 🙂 The evening was so quiet and peaceful, is was ….beautiful 🙂

  2. I look at those images and it makes me wonder about who might have stood there in the past looking out across the water. The sight could be almost identical, but that it is what we are thinking about at any point in time that makes the moment happy, sad, joyous, tragic… and yet a little dog will take it in for what potential it has to explore.

      1. I think you are right, but that oh dear, now all I can think of is a quote from the woman on Gimme Gimme Gimme “I am not a cat person, when people look at me they don’t think pussy, they think dog!” {{{giggle}}}
