Brancaster Marshland, North Norfolk

Scroll down to content

We tried to go for a walk today….  so did everyone else, we could not park here at Brancaster on the North Norfolk coast, it was complete chaos, I have never seen so many cars trying to park.  We gave up and drove further on, but more inland.  We normally try to keep away in the school holiday season, but thought, maybe, as it was the last week of the school summer holidays, it might be quiet……no way.  In the winter or early spring is the best time for us to visit, less people around.  So as we were unable to park, I found these photos that I took in late February of this year 2016, when it was nice and empty 🙂

  1. So those stacked cages… Are they crab pots? At least they look a little like the crabs pots here. Love the bird getting ready to have a little lunch!

  2. A lovely set of images. It looks very peaceful and serene without the crowds. Yes, I know what you mean about the parking. I, too, prefer crowd-less, spring and autumn, and definitely no school holidays.
