I just love the plait over the horses eye, not that I saw it when I was taking the photo. They were coming up to a road junction, which we were passing, and I just aimed the camera, hoping I got the horse…….and I did.

Great! That looks like it might be a Gypsy Vanner horse. They have the long hair at their feet. And mane, which may be the reason for the braid. 🙂
