The Well

 Venice, in every square and courtyard, you will find beautiful stone wells.  I counted six wells on one large square, and all of them different designs.  They are not use anymore, and most have their metal tops sealed down, but at one time they were the only means of the city having water.  By the way the word they use for square is ‘Campo’, a field, a large open space.
