Mono Venice

Just a few photos of Venice, Italy, that were headed for the trash, but I have played a little with them and changed them to mono. Β I love the colours of Venice and most of my photos are colour, so it’s a good chance to use, the not so good photos as mono.

    1. Thank you πŸ™‚ the water is choppy as we were in a water taxi, like a small speed boat and they go quite fast……a lot faster then would be allowed on the Norfolk Broads

      1. Oh I’m surprised about that! My only experience was in a small pleasure launch puttering down the Thames, where you were only allowed to go as fast as a tortoise! πŸ™‚

      2. Well I thought that they would go slower, maybe they are, but when no ones looking they don’t, they really go fast across the lagoon, which I didn’t really like. The flat bottom boat we went on was a lot slower, so I was happier πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you πŸ™‚ Its even stranger to see was the water lapping over the doorstep, which we saw on our last day, they had an exceptional high tide and it had rained all day long. Very interesting to see though πŸ™‚

  1. It is a lovely place to view from photos.. I think I would be one of the boats speeding over the open waters…when on one was looking for I would really get claustrophobic with all the buildings…

    1. Now I feel the opposite, I didn’t like the open water, I liked the narrow canals. Still we are all different, but then I really do not like being in small boats at all πŸ™‚

      1. That’s a good thing we are all different! If everyone was like you the waters would not have many boats… if like me… the poor shops would fold up!
