Continuing with our holiday in Venice……  After leaving the Island of Torcello and its beautiful Cathedral, we made our way to the four Islands that make up Burano in the northern part of the lagoon, known for its lace making and colourful fishermen’s houses.   Burano is not as busy as Venice, and it has its own identity, which we will explore later.

I just loved this restaurant, the bright white table cloths and the black uniforms of the waiters, you just felt you wanted to sit down and be served.  Not for us though, we still had some exploring to do, before heading back to Venice.
