We visited the Piazza San Marco quite a few times when we were in Venice, lucky our hotel was only a ten minute walk away, when we had worked out the short cuts, down the maze of alleyways.  We had both visited the sights of the Piazza years before, thank goodness, as the queues were a little off putting.  So this trip, we just enjoyed the square mostly in the mornings, there is something going on all the time, wedding photos, engagement photos, and this young couple.  I have no idea who they were, but I just joined in and took a few photos.  I had about five minutes, as we had to met our tour guide and my husband hates, and I mean really hates being late for anything.  It was quite funny as the young lady was totally scared of the pigeons, she was suppose to let them land on her hand, but that was never going to happen, as she just dropped the seed each time they tried to land.  It was funny to see lots of wedding photos taking place, I would have loved to have stayed and taken more, but our tour guide was waiting.
