What fascinated me on our trip to Venice was how it functions as a vehicle free island or islands. Everything arrives by a boat of some shape or another. Here are just a few of the delivery and other types of craft that I captured during our stay in October 2016.
Echoes of the Past 
Boats would be the equivalent of cars in Venice then!
Its so enchanting, certainly more than if it were cars!
Yes they are and as you say much more enchanting to watch than cars 🙂
Would take a little to get use to not being able to just hop in the car to go somewhere, but then again hopping into a kayak wouldn’t be bad at all! 🙂
Yes you would be fine in a kayak, I would roller skate around 🙂
