Xmas Baking

Last Christmas we visited Blickling Hall in Norfolk, and the cooks were busy in the kitchen.  They were cooking mince pies and the smell was lovely.  I think the theme was the late 1940’s to early 1950’s, but I could be wrong……….it was a year ago 🙂

      1. I like it without meat.. but I love meat it in.. makes it rich . Time for me to make some in time for Christmas. The mincemeat filling is also good in a cookie.
