Farewell 2016 – Hello 2017

I was going to post a few photos, but they got the better go me, so here are just a few of my favourite photos of 2016. Β  I hope everyone will have a Peaceful and Joyful New Year and that it continues throughout for everyone πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you, glad you like them. The cathedral is in Oban on the west coast of Scotland and for quite a new building is remarkable beautiful. I like the trees too, I love finding a good tree πŸ™‚ Happy New Years πŸ™‚

      1. Lynne, you’re welcome.
By all appearances Fen does look like a beautiful part of the world. Scotland should be on my list of places to visit.
In the part of California that I live in, the California Live Oaks are stunning in the winter with all their leaves gone. The challenge with photographing them is there is no resolution. Your eye keeping moving, following the many turns and twists of the branches.

      2. Thank you Tim, the Fens are very different, a little like Holland, flat with lots of water πŸ™‚ You must visit Scotland one day, the west coast is beautiful. I love the sound of those Oak trees, maybe one day, I will get to visit πŸ™‚ Lynne

    1. πŸ™‚ Happy New Year Pat πŸ™‚ It wasn’t a bad year for travelling, in truth I really enjoyed it, saw lovely places and did some equally lovely things. I just want to say thank you for following and hopefully we will both enjoy 2017 πŸ™‚

  1. Thank you for looking in at Middlewich, it was a pleasure to meet you and your photography is wonderful. Happy New Year to you and yours.

    1. Happy New Year John, hope its a good one for you and your family. Glad you enjoy the photos…..your church is coming soon, I am hoping to do a back log of churches, before we start travelling again, Lynne πŸ™‚
