On The Streets of Florence, Italy

Scroll down to content

Just a few mono photos of the streets of  a very wet Florence, Italy, from last years visit of 2016, well that’s not counting the owl bag.  I really loved that bag, but not the price tag that went along with it, you could, buy a very small house for the price of that owl…….so I just took a photo…..a lot cheaper 🙂

  1. It’s lovely how crisp B&W photos can make everthing both classy and classic, exotic at the same time as something from the 40s or 50s — especially anything in Italy …

A roundabout way of saying I love these and would have them on my wall anytime. (Well, maybe not the purse — doesn’t do my impression of a macho male any favours.)

    1. Thank you for your lovely compliment. I love looking at vintage b & w photos, it doesn’t matter what the subject is, as you say it can make anything look good, and thank goodness for that 🙂

  2. So much to see and do! The painter, the musicians, the buildings, and that purse. If I bought that purse (ha!) it would be displayed on a shelf as a piece of art. But I think my favorite would be the Gelateria. Looks very tempting. 🙂

    1. Yes, the purse would have to be displayed, he is rather lovely. I bought a Nantucket Basket, one made on the island, when we were there and that is on the shelf……if was a birthday and Christmas present rolled into one. Oh and the ice-cream there was wonderful 🙂
