Christmas At St Andrew The Apostle, Holt, Norfolk

Scroll down to content

Some churches look really beautiful at Christmas and this one, St Andrew The Apostle, in the lovely little town of Holt in the Norfolk countryside was one, with its stunning stain glass windows.  This post is really to show how beautiful the church was, I plan to return and take photos of the church with out its Christmas trimmings and explore a little of its history.  So hopefully the photos will show you what we found last Christmas 2016.

  1. That is a lot of windows! Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales is a surprise. Why is that used in a church? Jesus with the children was always one of my favorite stories, don’t think I’ve ever seen it in a window before. A beautiful church, I think I’d be wandering around staring at things for a very long time. Thanks, Lynne! 🙂
