We get to visit Devon a couple of times a year through work and always manage to do some sightseeing. On our last visit, we stopped to have a look at Sidmouth, a beautiful seaside town on the Jurassic Coastline, in South Devon. We also stopped at Budleigh Salterton, a small town on the coast in East Devon, England, 15 miles south-east of Exeter. The town lies within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Some colour photos of the beach at Sidmouth and some black & white of the town.
And the beach at Budleigh Salterton.
D’you mean Budleigh Salterton?
Yes I do, it changed when I posted, it did it twice, see it still got the better of me 🙂
Thought so! I once knew some people that lived there
Its a lovely spot, well all that coastline is, just a bit too hilly for me 🙂
I used to visit Sidmouth, Seaton, Ladram Bay, oh and Lyme with my parents some years ago….couldn’t do any of that now. The walk from Beer to Seaton (I think) was great
Lovely places to walk……I would need my electric bike for the hilly bits. Love Lyme, we use to visit a lot when we lived in the south, but it’s a bit far now for day trips 🙂
😊
What a nice place to visit – looks lovely!
Yes Devon is a lovely county, especially if the sun is shining 🙂
I really like the benches so you can sit to enjoy the lake. Wonderful village
Thank you, the benches are nice to sit on and watch whats going on 🙂
Beautiful! Definitely, going to visit one day 😊
Thank you, Devon is a lovely county to visit 🙂
