Seaside Towns, Sidmouth & Budleigh Salterton, Devon

Scroll down to content

We get to visit Devon a couple of times a year through work and always manage to do some sightseeing.  On our last visit, we stopped to have a look at Sidmouth, a beautiful seaside town on the Jurassic Coastline, in South Devon.  We also stopped at Budleigh Salterton, a small town on the coast in East Devon, England, 15 miles south-east of Exeter. The town lies within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Some colour photos of the beach at Sidmouth and some black & white of the town.

And the beach at Budleigh Salterton.

      1. I used to visit Sidmouth, Seaton, Ladram Bay, oh and Lyme with my parents some years ago….couldn’t do any of that now. The walk from Beer to Seaton (I think) was great

      2. Lovely places to walk……I would need my electric bike for the hilly bits. Love Lyme, we use to visit a lot when we lived in the south, but it’s a bit far now for day trips 🙂
