Last year 2017,we visited Cleeve Abbey by train, on the West Somerset Heritage Railway, from Minehead to Washford Station, and then a short walk to the Abbey. This post is a few of the photos that I took at Washford, while we waited for the train back to Minehead. Hopefully Minehead Station will follow next and then maybe the Abbey. I say this, because we are getting ready to go away for three weeks, and I am trying to get the garden ready for surviving being left on it’s own for that length of time. I am going to try and post something each day of our travels, like a holiday journal, might last for a day or two 🙂
Lovely trains! That big smile on the engineers face was a great capture!
Thank you and I was really happy that the engineer smiled, normally they look away, so it was a lovely bonus 🙂
I definitely have a weakness for historic trains! Magic!
Glad you enjoyed them Marcus & have a great weekend 🙂 Lynne
Thanks, you too 🙂
Gorgeous post. We love steam engines!
Thank you, I think we feel the same about steam trains, which is good 🙂
