We have been very busy travelling aboard and at home in the UK for the last month, all work related. As much as I like to travel, I do prefer longer gaps between each visit, so I am very happy to get back to normal, for at least a few weeks. I have missed being able to blog regularly, but hopefully I can now get back into it 🙂 So back to our trip to Italy in September 2018. After we had visited the Island of San Giulio, on Lake Orta in Northern Italy, we returned to the main land and came across a tiny church on the waterfront of the medieval town of Orta San Giulio. Trinity Church built in 1727, but I haven’t found out much about the building, just that the frescoes are by Luca Rossetti. Unfortunately the interior needs some restoration, but from what I could see, it’s still in use. Also I could take photos, no sign saying otherwise. Next post….. a trip around the town of Orta San Giulio.
Beautiful photos of a beautiful place! Wish you a peaceful Sunday, Lynne! Marcus
