This was the view from our hotel, The Hotel Bocciolo, while we were visiting Lake Orta in Italy, September 2018. I like to try and keep a record of the hotels we stay in, although in this case I forgot to take any of the rooms……my excuse, the cold from hell was certainly taking its toll, and I am amazed that I took any of the hotel at all…but I did take a few. One night while eating our meal outside, the heavens open, but it was so warm, we just continued to eat under the umbrellas, but I did take a photo of the view, well the lack of it. The hotel was very handy for going into the town, and perched up on the side of the hill it was nice and quite. They had a very nice restaurant and the breakfast was excellent, so husband again….. picked a very nice place to stay.
Very acceptable!
Yes it wasn’t too bad 🙂 The food was good 🙂
Nice post, Lynne, that may be an interesting accommodation to test next time we’re in the area (which is very beautiful). Thanks for all your beautiful inspirations shared last year! Happy New Year to you and yours! Marcus
Happy New Marcus, to you and your family. The hotel was quite nice, lovely food and best of all, quiet 🙂 It was an enchanting place, I could have sent so much more time there taking photos 🙂 Lynne
I’ve been out of the loop as of late. One of my goals for the new year is to get back to reading your blog and viewing the lovely photos you post. Blessings to you and yours this coming year.
Lovely to hear from you Carla and ‘A Happy New Year’ to you and your family for 2019 🙂 Lynne
It looks very charming! Beautiful scenic surroundings with good food ,sounds like a winner place for sure.
I have to say the food was lovely, and they cooked all gluten free food for me, which was lovely 🙂
How nice of them to fix gluten free food for you!
It was, they seem to be a lot more into Gluten free than here in the UK, although they are starting to get better 🙂
