September 2018 – On checking through photos of Portofino, I found two harbour lights, small lighthouses for my lighthouse category. I noticed the red light on the top photo, although I haven’t found any details about it, it’s in a wonderful location. The second light is dated 1913. Active every 3 seconds and is mounted on a bracket on the side of a 3-story waterfront building, which apparently is the port captain’s & coast guard office at the entrance of the harbour.
Lovely little red lighthouse. Never seen one that small, and then on the side of a building! Had the look twice to find it…
I wondered if you would find it, I had to look twice and I took the photo 🙂
