This is the last post of ‘A Trip On Lake Brienz, To Catch A Train, Switzerland’, about our cruise on Lake Brienz and train trip up ‘The Brienzer Rothorn Mountain’ in Switzerland. The weather was closing in, so we had a short walk around the Brienz and then it was time to catch our little cruise boat back across to Interlaken, where we were staying. We returned on a different boat, this one looked like a little steam boat and it was lovely just to sit back, and drink nice hot coffee with some lovely little cakes, enjoying the passing scenery. Even though it had rained on and off all day, and the cloud never really lifted for very long……..it was interesting and different, life is not perfect, so we make the most of it…..whatever the weather 🙂
I’ve just been reminiscing on Berne and lake Thun when Interrailing in the early ’80s…wet, wet, wet so we took another train, to Vienna….glorious sunshine…. https://suejudd.com/2018/08/02/the-rain-in-berne-and-the-sun-in-wien/
I have been to Austria several times, but never Vienna, must rectify 🙂
